About Us

Our name, The Scroller, reflects our vision to create a website that’s so engaging that you just can’t stop scrolling. We want to make you late for appointments, forget that you put water on for tea, and completely miss the episode of TV that you’re watching.

At a time when so much of the “fun” internet is disappearing, we’re creating something new, something fun, something worth visiting.

Our coverage typically spans Digital Culture, Entertainment, TV and movies, Memes, Humor, and just about anything that piques our curiosity. We’re a little hard to pin down because we’re constantly chasing what reminds us of how interesting and hilarious the world is around us. One week, we may find a trove of concept cars that sends us down one path, and the next week, we may be fixated on space. But that’s the journey we hope to take you on at The Scroller.

The Scroller was founded in 2023 by a small team of passionate and creative individuals who collectively have decades of experience creating highly engaging content that audiences love.

Colby Droscher

General Manager, O/O

Colby has spent the last 15 years working his way through Digital Media with roles in social media, community management, and editorial. He was previously the Editor-in-Chief of Literally Media’s entertainment brands (Cracked.com, eBaumsWorld.com, Cheezburger.com).

Matt Staff

Senior Editor

Matt has spent over the last 8 years as both a writer and editor, working in Seattle and Brooklyn, where he is now based. He loves escaping the tirelessly fast pace of the “Mad Apple” that is NYC by taking walks and runs through parks where he’s able to catch up on the latest tea about society from the city’s ever chatty, always hungry, occasionally maniacal, pigeons. They always have a lot to say. When he’s not taking his urban nature strolls, or dutifully combing the deepest rabbit holes of the internet to find the content that’s worth sinking your mind’s teeth into, he’s likely holed up at a dark-lit dive bar with a new book and/or some friends, or just easily he could be on the hunt for the next addition to his steadily growing plant family.
