1. Chevy Tahoe
The Chevy Tahoe’s rating took a massive hit on reliability, with a score of 2.9/10. There are also negative reviews on the push button gear shifter, bad fuel economy, and a lack of agility. Make sure to steer clear from the Chevy Tahoe.
2. Mercedes-Benz C-Class
The C-Class got awful scores on predicted reliability with a score of 1.9/10. It also got an awful owner satisfaction rating with a score of 1 star out of 5. For such an expensive and luxurious brand, you should be satisfied with your purchase.
3. Land Rover Discovery
The Land Rover Discovery had a very poor predicted reliability score of 3/10, and a terrible customer satisfaction rating of 2 stars out of five. For such an expensive car, we expected more.
4. Nissan Frontier
The Frontier is said to be an extremely rough ride. Its predicted reliability score was 2.3/10 and customers rated it a score of 2 stars out of 5. Aren’t trucks supposed to be a smooth ride?
5. Jaguar F-Pace
The Jaguar F-Pace would have scored fairly well with reliability, but customers couldn’t deal with the noises the car made. Forbes magazine listed this car as one of the worst cars of 2024.

The Bolt EV scored a D with consumers for value, and is said to have one of the worst depreciation scores of all time. To top it all off, maintenance for it is said to be near impossible.

The Bronco is said to lack agility, and have awful breaks. It was also reported that this car was too loud in the interior and had terrible fuel economy. For the cherry on top, the predicted reliability score for the Bronco was 3.7/10.
9. Nissan Leaf
The Nissan leaf also scored terribly with customers for its awful maintenance, and depreciation. The battery also has no thermal management, so say goodbye to long road trips.
10. Buick Enclave
The enclave stored a D+ with customers, which is better than a D, but not by much. There are many reports of problems with the transmission, timing chain, and random airbag deployment. So if you don’t want a random smack in the face from an airbag, stay away from this one.
11. Jeep Gladiator
The Gladiator got awful road test scores and a low predicted reliability score of 4/10. Customers have also said that the bed of the truck is too small and inconvenient. Why buy a truck if you can barely fit stuff in your truck bed?

The Chrysler Voyager actually scored pretty well with reliability with a score of 4.2/5, but there are many reports of transmission problems and engine trouble. I’m not sure how a car can be reliable, and have engine trouble, but the Voyager is proof it can happen.

Critics loved the Mirage’s low price, and great fuel economy, but hated the loud interior, and said it handled terribly. People who tested the car said that you’re better off buying a used car than the Mirage.
15. Jeep Wrangler
The Wrangler was said to be an awkward ride, and have awful fuel economy. With a predicted reliability score of 2.7/10, and a road test score of 3.4/10, make sure to keep this car off your list.
16. Nissan Maxima
The Nissan Maxima is said to have a whole line up of problems. This problem stems from a defective timing chain, which is never a good start to a new car. Avoid the Maxima if you can.
17. Ford Edge
With reports of mechanical issues and engine problems, the Ford Edge should not be on your list for a first car. There have also been reports of faulty power steering, and if you’ve ever experienced driving with no power steering, you’ll know to stay away from this car.
18. Nissan Titan
The Titan scored so poorly with critics and customers alike. It is said that this truck has such poor ventilation that it overheats so easily. There are also many reports of transmission problems.
19. GMC Yukon XL
During testing, a plethora of problems surfaced with the Yukon. The list included handles of the car breaking, speedometers not working properly, wheel speed sensors failing, and a faulty anti-theft system resulting in the car not starting. So if you want a car that starts, avoid the Yukon.
